Se estableció como objetivo general analizar los recursos históricos culturales de los equipos del Astillero de la ciudad de Guayaquil para el diseño de paquetes que aporten al desarrollo turístico de la ciudad. En cuanto a la metodología se utilizó un enfoque con tipología mixta y por su alcance es del tipo descriptiva. Se consideró como universo de estudio a los turistas que visitan el puerto Santa Ana que luego de aplicar la fórmula de muestra probabilística dio como resultado un total de personas a encuestar para identificar el grado de conocimiento con el que cuentan al respecto de los equipos del Astillero y la probabilidad que tendrían de ser los futuros clientes de lo que se desea ofertar, se entrevistó a profesionales que de cierto modo tienen conocimiento del campo y objeto de la presente investigación siendo tomados en cuentas guías turísticos, empresarios del sector turismo y periodistas deportivos. Como resultados se demuestra un nivel medio de conocimientos de la historia de los equipos en mención, junto con la poca afluencia que tienen los museos de dichos equipos además las entrevistas sugirieron que se debe detallar acontecimientos históricos que han ocurrido en el transcurso de la vida institucional de los clubes del Astillero.This investigation involves sports culture with the history of the city of Guayaquil, trying to get an advantage from the tourist point of view, the base of the problemis the ignorance of history and cultural resources of the Astillero sport teams; therefore, it raised the question: How cultural historical resources of the Astillero’s teams contribute to the development of tourism in the city of Guayaquil? It was established as general aim to analyze the historical and cultural resources of Astillero’s teams Guayaquil to design packages that contribute to tourism development in the city. Regarding the methodology approach, it was used a mixed type and the scope of the research is descriptive. The tourists visiting the port Santa Ana were considered as universe of this study, that after applying the formula of probability sample resulted in a total of 383 people to be surveyed to identify the degree of knowledge about the teamsand the likelihood that they would be the future customers of what it is pretended to offer, it was also interviewed some professionals who has some knowledge of the field and the subject of this investigation, such as: tourist guides, tourism entrepreneurs and sports journalists. As a result, an average level of knowledge of the history of both sporting clubs was shown, besides it was noticed the low turnout in museums of both teams, it was alsosuggested by the interviews that it is necessary to detail historical events that have occurred in the course of institutional life of Astillero’s clubs.UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUILLic.
