OBJETIVO: Determinar la correlación de la hemoglobina de ingreso y control despuésde un parto cefalovaginal, Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro. METODOLOGIA: Serealizó una investigación no experimental, de tipo retrospectivo, descriptivo transversal, con enfoque cuantitativo, ya que, todos los datos estadísticos recopilados, se obtuvieron a partir de la revisión de las historias clínicas del hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro entre el periodo de mayo de 2022 a febrero de 2023. RESULTADOS: De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos se evidencio que el 96,5% de pacientes tuvieron como causa de control de hemoglobina el haber presentado anemia en el embarazo, y elotro 3,40% de pacientes se les realizo el control debido a hemorragia en el parto CONCLUSIÓN: Un porcentaje de 20.05% de mujeres que dieron a luz en el hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro, asistieron a su análisis de hemoglobina; esto quiere decir que, existe poca información sobre la importancia de esta patología que afecta tanto a la madre como al hijo Postpartum anemia is a recurring pathology that can have consequences forboth the mother (due to loss of blood and red blood cells during childbirth) and the newborn (due to insufficient iron present in their body). PURPOSE: Determine the correlation between admission and control hemoglobin after a cephalovaginal delivery, at Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro. METHODOLOGY: A non-experimental, retrospective, descriptive cross- sectional investigation was carried out, with a quantitative approach, since all the statistical data collected was obtained from the review of the clinical recordsof the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro hospital between the period of May 2022 to February 2023. RESULTS: According to the results obtained, it was evidenced that 96.5% of patients had hemoglobin control as a cause of having presented anemia during pregnancy, and the other 3.40% of patients were I perform the control due to a hemorrhage in childbirth.
