No obstante estos importantes avances, los pueblos de raíz africana siguen con niveles bajos de representación en las universidades, en los planes de estudio y en los campos de investigación. Uno de los intereses principales de la Cátedra es suscitar el intercambio académico entre intelectuales y fomentar la cooperación con entidades educativas, organizaciones afrodescendientes e instancias institucionales del Ecuador, América Andina y América del Sur. Por lo anteriormente expuesto con la presente investigación se pretende desarrollar Literatura Afroandina, Cultura e Integración Regional para mejorar la cultura y el nivel académico de los estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato y su propuesta la Poesía Negra en la Comunidad Andina de Naciones. El proyecto se desarrolló cinco capítulos en el primero trata de el planteamiento del problema, el segundo cuenta con la información correspondiente al marco teórico sobre la Literatura Afroandina, en el tercer capítulo está la metodología de la investigación, el cuarto corresponde al análisis y resultado de las encuestas realizadas y el quinto donde está la propuesta del proyecto con el cual se trata solucionar el problema de la investigaciónAfter centuries of invisibility and denial as peoples, Afro-descendants today have a new recognition and protagonism in Andean America, reflected in constitutional reforms, individual and collective rights, anti-racism policies and initiatives to interculturalize social institutions, Including education. Notwithstanding these important developments, African-descended peoples continue to have low levels of representation in universities, curricula and research fields. One of the main interests of the Chair is to stimulate academic exchange among intellectuals and to foster cooperation with educational institutions, Afro-descendant organizations and institutional bodies in Ecuador, Andean America and South America. Therefore, the present research aims to develop Afro-Andean Literature, Culture and Regional Integration to improve the culture and academic level of second-year high school students and their proposal of Black Poetry in the Andean Community of Nations.
