La investigación tiene un diseño no experimental, el tipo de investigación es de enfoque cuali-cuantitativo con alance descriptivo y el método deductivo, los instrumentos utilizados para este trabajo de investigación son la entrevista y la encuesta donde se evidenció las falencias del área al no contar con un instructivo formal, llegando a la conclusión que el manual será una guía tanto para el personal ya integrado al área como para los nuevos integrantes de éste.A study was carried out with the purpose of showing the shortcomings that the accounting area of a company has due to the lack of a procedures manual in which the guidelines of the activities that the personnel of this area have are described, the general objective is to design a Procedures manual for the accounting area and improve the management of the accounting department in Comprifarm S.A.
