Esta sistematización pretende dar a conocer la experiencia de un trabajo de campo realizado, en un grupo, conformado por varias empresas enfocadas en diferentes actividades comerciales a nivel nacional, ubicada al norte de la ciudad de Guayaquil, dirigida al personal financiero. Llegando a la conclusión a partir de los instrumentos aplicados tales como la observación como fuente principal, diarios de campo, registros fotográficos, cuestionarios, páginas web, bibliotecas virtuales y entrevistas lo que permite la interpretación y descripción de toda la situación vivida respondiendo a la pregunte eje plantada de ¿Cómo percibieron el efecto del estrés en el desempeño laboral los empleados del departamento financiero? Lo perciben de manera llevadera en la cual trabajan con responsabilidad tratando de mantener su desempeño laboral por fines personales aun sintiéndose insatisfechos por factores mencionados por ellos tales como: la falta de personal y el tiempo. Así mismo, la desorganización, las horas extendidas de trabajo, el clima laboral, la falta de apoyo social en alguno de los casos, y por sobre todo la falta de atención por parte del líder del departamento, todo esto siendo factores generadores de estrés que afectan al desempeño laboralThe present work is carried out with the modality of systematization of experience, being this one of the requirements that must be fulfilled in the State University of Guayaquil; Faculty of Psychological Sciences for the culmination of the professional career This systematization intends to make known the experience of a field work to be done, in a business group, formed by several companies focused on different commercial activities at a national level, located north of the city of Guayaquil, directed to the financial staff. Reaching the conclusion from the applied instruments such as observation as the main source, field diaries, photographic records, questionnaires, web pages, virtual libraries and interviews which allows the interpretation and description of the whole lived situation answering the question planted axis of How did the employees of the financial department perceive the effect of stress in the work performance? They perceive it in a bearable way in which they work with responsibility trying to maintain their work performance for personal purposes even if they feel dissatisfied by factors mentioned by them such as: lack of personnel and time.
