Esta investigación fue realizada mediante un enfoque cualitativo utilizando como referencia investigaciones bibliográficas y de campo, esto con el fin de poder analizar los grupos objetivos. Siendo aplicados como técnicas e instrumentos, encuestas y entrevistas semiestructuradas, estas fueron suministradas a alumnos, padres de familia y docentes, Dando como resultado que existen factores dentro del ambiente familiar que afectan de manera significativa el rendimiento académico, es por lo que se sugiere la necesidad de implementar una serie de recomendaciones, las cuales servirán de apoyo para fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades emocionales y a su vez mejorar la comunicación asertiva de los alumnos.The present research work named family environment and its influence on academic performance in 6th grade children, which aims to analyze the family environment and its influence on the academic performance of sixth grade children. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach using bibliographic and field research as a reference, this to be able to analyze the target groups.
