Se utilizó una metodología basada en el enfoque cuantitativo-no experimental de tipo transversal con un alcance correlacional, con una muestra de 30 niños junto a un representante familiar por cada uno, que son beneficiarios de Fundación NURTAC y participaron en el proyecto mencionado anteriormente. Entre los principales resultados obtenidos, se rechaza las hipótesis de asociación de variables, sin embargo, los resultados permiten revelar información de interés: en ocho de los niños que se desarrollan en un sistema familiar disfuncional predominan con un 75% alteraciones leves y severas en la atención y memoria, información que coincide con resultados de estudios realizados recientemente en Argentina y Chile, lo cual permite establecer la existencia de una relación entre estas variables, determinando que la nulidad estadística de la correlación se debe a la complejidad de las variables que se determinan por una gran cantidad de factores relacionados al contextoThe general objective of this research was to relate attention and memory in children aged 6 to 11 years with the typology and functionality of their family system using the data obtained through the evaluation phase of one of the projects of the Faculty of Psychological Sciences , “Comprehensive care strategies grow to improve the cognitive and behavioral functioning of school-age children in zone 8”, using the use of SPSS software obtaining information relevant to the variables proposed in the study. A methodology based on the quantitative-non-experimental cross-sectional approach with a correlational scope was used, with a sample of 30 children together with a family representative for each, who are beneficiaries of the NURTAC Foundation and participated in the aforementioned project.
