It is necessary to improve the skills in oral production since it is important in the learning and communication process. In addition to seeking new methods, strategies, and techniques for teaching English and improving the acquisition of this language in students. To develop these skills there is an online platform based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This research analyzes the use of quizizz as a didactic strategy to promote the development of oral production skills in English in the students of the tenth grade of basic education of the Colegio Antonio José de Sucre, academic period 2021-2022. The mixed-method was implemented as part of the methodology for data collection, an interview and a survey were applied to teachers and students. The results showed that teachers should use the quizizz platform to engage students in a dynamic learning process. The main conclusion of this study is the use of the quizizz platform to achieve better performance of students, especially in speaking skills. The use of videos, audios, and text to acquire vocabulary and improve their comprehension is recommended. The application of this digital resource has a great impact on students' attitudes and motivation by making them feel more comfortable as the activities are more practical.Las dificultades del aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa en el sistema educativo son latentes. Es necesario mejorar las habilidades en la producción oral ya que es importante en el proceso de aprendizaje y comunicación. Además de buscar nuevos métodos, estrategias y técnicas para la enseñanza del inglés y mejorar la adquisición de esta lengua en los alumnos. Para desarrollar estas habilidades existe una plataforma online basada en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC). Esta investigación analiza el uso de quizizz como estrategia didáctica para promover el desarrollo de las habilidades de producción oral en inglés en los estudiantes del grado décimo de educación básica del Colegio Antonio José de Sucre, periodo académico 2021-2022. Se implementó el método mixto como parte de la metodología para la recolección de datos, se aplicó una entrevista y una encuesta a docentes y estudiantes. Los resultados mostraron que los docentes deben utilizar la plataforma quizizz para involucrar a los estudiantes en un proceso de aprendizaje dinámico. La principal conclusión de este estudio es el uso de la plataforma quizizz para lograr un mejor rendimiento de los alumnos, especialmente en las habilidades de expresión oral. Se recomienda el uso de vídeos, audios y textos para adquirir vocabulario y mejorar su comprensión. La aplicación de este recurso digital tiene un gran impacto en las actitudes y la motivación de los estudiantes al hacerlos sentir más cómodos ya que las actividades son más prácticas.Universidad de Guayaquil.
