It is, however, a difficult skill to learn and master. By getting a head start with some simple activities, you can help your students begin to develop their writing skills at an early age. By doing so you will be contributing to their future success as a student and as an adult while teaching them how to express themselves. Every day, we need to write in order to complete our tasks, whether we are filling out a form at any field or writing an important letter. These tasks require us to write clearly, and organize information effectively. Whether students are writing by hand or on the computer, many assignments and exams require students to write short answers or longer essays as a way of assessing what they have learned. As students get older, they will be expected to show more sophisticated writing skills, and to complete more sophisticated tasks through their writing. In addition, if they want study abroad, many colleges and universities require students to write essays as part of their admissions application. For this reason we consider essential the elaboration an additional book that contains didactic strategies in order to develop this skill of the English that is considered one of the most important in this foreign language. We have taken into consideration several strategies and techniques that will facilitate not only the teachers work, but also the student´s acquisition of the new knowledge. Besides, we have used some foundations that are the scientific support of this educative project which contains philosophic, pedagogical, psychological currents that are of great help for the developing of this project.Escribir es una parte importante de nuestra vida cotidiana. Sin embargo, es una habilidad difícil de aprender y dominar. Obtener, al principio con algunas actividades simples, se puede ayudar a los estudiantes a empezar a desarrollar sus habilidades de escritura a una edad temprana. Al hacerlo, estará contribuyendo a su éxito futuro como estudiante y como adulto mientras se les enseña a expresarse. Todos los días, tenemos que escribir para completar nuestras tareas, si estamos rellenando un formulario en cualquier campo o escribir una carta importante. Estas tareas nos obligan a escribir claramente y organizan la información con eficacia. Si los estudiantes están escribiendo a mano o en la computadora, muchas asignaciones y exámenes requieren que los estudiantes escriban respuestas cortas o ensayos más como una forma de evaluar lo que han aprendido. Conforme los alumnos van creciendo, se espera que muestran más sofisticadas habilidades de escritura, y completar más sofisticadas tareas a través de su escritura. Además, si quieren estudiar en el extranjero, muchos colegios y universidades requieren que los estudiantes escriben ensayos como parte de su solicitud de admisión. Por esta razón consideramos esenciales la elaboración de un libro que contiene estrategias didácticas para el desarrollo de esta habilidad del inglés que es considerado uno de los más importantes en esta lengua extranjera. Hemos tomado en consideración varias estrategias y técnicas que faciliten no sólo el trabajo de profesores, sino también la adquisición de los nuevos conocimientos. Además, hemos utilizado algunas bases que son el soporte científico de este proyecto educativo que contiene las corrientes filosóficas, pedagógicas, psicológicas que son de gran ayuda para el desarrollo de este proyecto.Universidad de Guayaquil.
