La investigación tuvo como objetivo general “Proponer un modelo de gestión para optimizar el inventario que se encuentra en la bodega de la compañía Comfarmalsa”, además se consideró como metodología aplicada de tipo mixto, es decir cualitativa por la aplicación de la entrevista y una evaluación documental por medio del análisis de los estados financieros, asimismo, cuantitativa por la encuesta como parte de la técnica de investigación. Como propuesta se desarrolló un manual de gestión direccionada a establecer políticas y procedimientos para los inventarios, además se estableció el cálculo de deterioro y el respectivo asiento contable para contribuir con información que favorezca en la toma de decisiones por parte de la gerencia y finalmente, se aplicó una evaluación de los estados financieros después de la propuesta, demostrando la mejoría de la empresa en el área de inventariosThe inventories area has a high share of current assets and their conversion into cash should be controlled, which is where the present inquiry arose. The general objective of the research was to "Propose a management model to optimize the inventory found in the Comfarmalsa company's warehouse", it was also considered as a mixed type applied methodology, that is, qualitative by the application of the interview and an evaluation documentary through the analysis of the financial statements, likewise, quantitative by the survey as part of the research technique.
