The objective is to determine if gamification is an effective tool to improve academic results and to examine if students used gamified activities as a dynamic way of learning that is different from traditional classes. As a result, a survey was carried out with questions related to the research topic. After using the quantitative method to interpret the data, it was discovered that there was a problem of demotivation in education. To motivate students to learn English, the researchers created a brochure with the main educational gamification activities and how they can be used in the classroom. En este proyecto de investigación se determinó a la gamificación como una herramienta pedagógica para potenciar la motivación en los estudiantes del primer año de BGU de la Unidad Educativa “Porvenir”, con nivel de inglés A2, quienes tienen dificultades para aprender debido a su falta de interés. El objetivo es determinar si la gamificación es una herramienta efectiva para mejorar los resultados académicos y examinar si los estudiantes utilizaban actividades gamificadas como una forma de aprender dinámica y diferente a las clases tradicionales. Como resultado, se llevó a cabo una encuesta con preguntas relacionadas con el tema de investigación. Después de usar el método cuantitativo para interpretar los datos, se descubrió que había un problema de desmotivación en la educación. Para motivar a los estudiantes a aprender inglés, los investigadores crearon un folleto con las principales actividades de gamificación educativa y cómo se pueden usar en el aula.Universidad de Guayaquil.
