Mediante las entrevistas y encuestas se analizaron las variables correspondientes: difusión de las noticias y comportamiento social. Con esta recopilación de información y posterior análisis, se determinó que, las noticias con la temática del Covid-19, publicadas por Diario El Comercio, inciden en el cambio de la conducta de los moradores del sector. Esta problemática también se debe a varios factores; como el poco control de consumo de noticias durante la pandemia, la falta de conocimientos para detectar noticias falsas, entre otras. Por eso, la propuesta es diseñar un Plan de Capacitación Comunicacional que ayude directamente al fortalecimiento del comportamiento social al momento de receptar noticias en las redes sociales.The purpose of this research is to analyze the content of the news about the pandemic caused by Covid-19 published by Diario El Comercio, and this influences the social behavior of the inhabitants of the Javier Marcos citadel in the Naranjito canton through interviews and surveys. The corresponding variables were also analyzed: news dissemination and social behavior, then with this information collection and subsequent analysis. It was determined that the news with the topic Covid-19, published by the newspaper El Comercio, affects the change in the behavior of the residents of the sector. This problem is also due to several factors such as the inability to control information during the pandemic, and the lack of knowledge to detect fakes news.
