Los objetivos del presente trabajo fueron el de verificar la posible relación entre el estrés psicosocial en la etapa gestacional con los trastornos de desarrollo neurológico que presentan sus hijos, identificar las situaciones problemáticas que generan estrés psicosocial en la etapa gestacional, describir la posible relación que existe entre el estrés psicosocial en la etapa gestacional con el desarrollo del producto de la concepción, ya sea en su fase embrionaria o en la fase fetal, y analizar la correlación del tipo de estrés psicosocial en la etapa gestacional con los trastornos de desarrollo neurológico. La metodología empleada es la cualitativa, con un enfoque sistémico, ya que a más de contar con una muestra intencional, utilizando el método científico inductivo tiene una visión del ciclo vital familiar. Por medio de las entrevistas, documentos preparados por razones oficiales, historias clínicas y mapeos, se identifican las situaciones psicosociales estresantes que estas madres pasaron, en qué etapa gestacional se llevaron a cabo, y la relación con las problemáticas que presentan sus hijos, entre estos se mencionan: El Trastorno del Espectro del Autismo (TEA), Las Discapacidades intelectuales (leve, moderada, grave) y El Trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDAH). Las situaciones psicosociales estresantes que evidenciaron estas señoras en su embarazo determinan la relación estrecha que existe entre una madre y su hijo.This study was conducted in the 2015-2016 school period in the specialized education unit "Manuela Espejo", in which the students, their mothers and authorities of the institution participated. The objectives of this study were to verify the possible relationship between psychosocial stress in the gestational stage with neurodevelopmental disorders presented by their children, identify the problematic situations that generate psychosocial stress in the gestational stage, describe the possible relationship that exists between psychosocial stress in the gestational stage with the development of the product of conception, either in its embryonic phase or in the fetal phase, and analyze the correlation of the type of psychosocial stress in the gestational stage with neurodevelopmental disorders. The methodology used is qualitative, with a systemic approach, since besides having an intentional sample, using the inductive scientific method has a vision of the family life cycle. Through interviews, documents prepared for official reasons, clinical histories and mappings, the stressful psychosocial situations that these mothers experienced, in what gestational stage they were carried out, and the relationship with the problems presented by their children, are identified. The following are mentioned: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (mild, moderate, severe) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
