El desarrollo de estas prácticas se dio en la Universidad de Guayaquil, específicamente en la Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación. Es importante señalar que el presente trabajo tiene como propósito analizar la incidencia que tuvo el proceso de orientación psicológica en los estudiantes de la Universidad de Guayaquil. En cuanto a la metodología que se utilizó para esta investigación es de tipo cualitativa, caracterizada por ser transversal y descriptiva. Los resultados obtenidos del proceso de orientación psicológica fueron el empoderamiento de los derechos de las estudiantes, en la que se reestructuraron nuevas conceptualizaciones sobre la violencia de género y sexual, además se brindó una contención y atención en crisis a las estudiantes que manifestaron ser víctimas de violencia sexualGender and sexual violence constitutes one of the greatest psychosocial problems worldwide, since it not only includes the young population, but also involves the adult population and children, manifested with greater intensity in this last part of the community; since it is characterized by deteriorating the quality of life, in such a way that it generates limitations when starting a couple relationship by reducing interpersonal relationships among their peers. The development of these practices occurred in the University of Guayaquil, specifically in the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Education Sciences. It is important to point out that the present work has as purpose to analyze the incidence that the process of psychological orientation had in the students of the University of Guayaquil. Regarding the methodology used for this research, it is qualitative, characterized by being transversal and descriptive.
