Para el efecto se recabó información de administradores y empleados de las haciendas mediante visitas en el lugar de la investigación, lo cual permitió obtener información más amplia y útil que permita analizar las actividades agroturísticas y económicas que posee el cantón. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utilizaron los instrumentos de entrevistas y encuestas para obtener la información, donde se constata que existe poco conocimiento acerca de agroturismo y de labores ligadas a esta potencial actividad agrícola e inclusive fluvial y cultural. Se propone fomentar la llegada de visitantes a través de la promoción de la ruta del arroz y de la cultura montuvia lo cual no es conocido por la mayoría de la población y que puede ser explotado en beneficio del sector, lo cual hace factible que se implemente esta propuesta.This research work analyzes the potential of the agricultural resources in the Etelvira and Los Ramírez farms, in order to obtain important elements to propose a strengthening and revitalizing agrotourism plan in Colimes. For this reason, information of administrators and employees of the farms was collected through accompaniments on the research place, which allowed to get wider and more useful information to analyze the agrotourism and economic activities that the canton possesses. For the development of this research, the interview instruments and polls were used to get the information, where it was observed that there is little knowledge about agrotourism and work related to this potential agricultural activity and even fluvial and cultural ones.
