Se presenta una exhaustiva indagación de los puntos más relevantes en un plan de promoción, haciendo una revisión de la historia y el avance que se presenta esta herramienta fundamental en la promoción de lugares y servicios turísticos. El complejo turístico Rancho Laguna ha sido tomado en cuenta, debido a que presenta un alto potencial turístico que aún no ha sido explotado ni conocido por los turistas que a través de las encuestas realizadas presentan gran interés por conocer y disfrutar de este atractivo que puede tributar a los actuales planes de desarrollo turístico del municipio de formar la ciudad como un destino turístico integral y dejar en el olvido aquella etiqueta que se mantiene en la actualidad de ser solo “un lugar de paso”.This research addresses to current issues about tourism promotion in the world, for this it was created a strategic plan to incorporate into the market the resort place Rancho Laguna, thus providing a new space for recreation and relaxation for local and national tourists arriving in Buenos Aires city. This investigation highlights a presented promotion plan, makes a review of the history and progress a fundamental tool promoting tourist sites and services. The resort place Rancho Laguna has been taken into account because it has a high tourism potential that hasn’t been exploited yet or known by tourists through surveys of great interest. Tourists can know and enjoy this attractive that can be taxed by current tourism development plans formed by the municipality of the city as an integral tourist destination and it will be forgotten the label that this place has today, only as "a place to pass".UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUILLic.
