Dicho proceso fue ejecutado por estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Psicológicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil como parte del proyecto “Construyendo una cultura de la diversidad”, el cual tenía como objetivo fomentar prácticas inclusivas mediante la aplicación de técnicas, instrumentos y talleres que contribuyan a un mayor nivel de sensibilización hacia las necesidades educativas especiales y al mejoramiento de la atención educativa.La metodología utilizada fue la sistematización de experiencias, focalizada en dar respuesta a nuestra pregunta eje ¿Cuál es la pertinencia del proceso de sensibilización a docentes hacia las necesidades educativas especiales en la Escuela María Reina de Fe y Alegría?, para lo cual se realizó la revisión de la literatura relacionada al eje, la recuperación del proceso vivido y finalmente concluimos con nuestra reflexión crítica sobre aspectos relevantes evidenciados en la práctica. Mediante el análisis de estos puntos se dio respuesta a nuestra pregunta eje, además se proporcionaron recomendaciones para la adecuación de mejoras al procesoThe present work responds to the experience lived during the process of sensitizing teachers towards the special educational needs carried out at the María Reina School located in the city of Guayaquil. This process was executed by students of the Faculty of Psychological Sciences of the University of Guayaquil as part of the project “Building a culture of diversity”, which aimed to promote inclusive practices through the application of techniques, instruments and workshops that contribute to a higher level of awareness towards special educational needs and the improvement of educational attention. The methodology used was the systematization of experiences, focused on responding to our core question: What is the relevance of the process of sensitization to teachers towards special educational needs at the María Reina School from Fe y Alegría?, for which the review of the literature related to the axis, the recovery of the lived process and finally we conclude with our critical reflection on relevant aspects evidenced in practice.
