Para lograr el alcance de sus objetivos se realizó una integración teórica, en donde se describen distintos temas tales como los modelos y dimensiones de liderazgo y motivación. Además, se presenta el impacto que tienen los distintos estilos de liderazgo y motivación en una organización. Finalmente se aplicó una entrevista a un personal seleccionado para recolectar datos sobre el liderazgo y motivación que prevalecía en ellos y también se aplicó a una muestra intencional no probabilística de 45 trabajadores el cuestionario multifactor de liderazgo 5X (MLQ) con el cual se identificó que el estilo de liderazgo que predomina en la empresa es el Laissez Faire y también se aplicó la escala de motivación (R- MAWS) con el objetivo de explorar los factores motivacionales que se presentaba en el personal de la empresa, dando como resultado que el personal se encuentran en un nivel alto de motivaciónThe present study is a mixed type research project, descriptive in scope and cross-sectional, about the leadership style and work motivation of the workers of an airport services company in the city of Guayaquil, which sought to determine the relationship between the leadership style and the work motivation that maintained by the company staff, in addition, the leadership style that predominated in the managers was identified, the motivational factors of the staff were also explored and analyzes were carried out on the link between the leadership style and the motivational factors of the staff. To achieve its objectives, a theoretical integration was carried out, where different topics such as models and dimensions of leadership and motivation are described. In addition, the impact that different styles of leadership and motivation have in an organization is presented.
