El estudio de esta temática tuvo como sustento la documentación bibliográfica para las bases teóricas, y el marco legal. Para el desarrollo de este proceso investigativo se utilizó el método científico como el método general del conocimiento clasificado en uno de sus tipos: el método dialéctico. Los tipos de investigación utilizados fueron: cualitativa, cuantitativa, experimental, testimonial y de archivo. Las técnicas implementadas son: la entrevista, y la encuesta. Los resultados obtenidos de la aplicación del instrumento correspondiente a la encuesta, se representaron de manera tabular, gráfica y textual de cada una de las preguntas contenidas en el cuestionario. Estos resultados permitieron que se justifique la ejecución de la propuesta la cual consiste en la preproducción del documental “Guayaquil de Antaño”This research has taken as a titration of the investigation analysis "Photo Album" program, broadcasted by Channel One, as historical cultural communication tool of Guayaquil, 2016. The research of this subject was done in order to support bibliographic documentation for theoretical basis, and the legal framework. For the development of this investigative process it was used the scientific method as the general method of knowledge classified in one of its kinds: the dialectical method. The used types of research were: qualitative, quantitative, experimental, testimonial and file. The implemented techniques were: the interview, and survey. The results of the application of the instrument to the survey, were represented in tabular, graphical and textual ways, each of the questions in the questionnaire way. These results allowed the implementation of the proposal which is in preproduction of the documentary "Old Guayaquil" is justified.UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUILLic.
