El muelle consta de una estructura de hormigón armado y su función principal es servir como espacio de entretenimiento y turístico. La forma es rectangular, y se distribuyen vertical y horizontalmente en forma de T. El diseño y cálculo estructural se realizan tomando en cuenta el código de construcción ecuatoriano y los códigos de construcción vigentes utilizados para diseñar una estructura robusta. Para determinar la capacidad portante de la superestructura se realizó un estudio dinámico analizando las cargas y tensiones máximas admisibles mediante el software Etabs. Con los resultados necesarios para los trabajos de la estructura, se elabora un plano estructural teniendo en cuenta las características, dimensiones y secciones de los elementos que conformarán el muelle.This project focuses on the design and analysis of the superstructure of a recreational pier to be installed in a specific area of the Las Palmas beach area in the state of Esmeraldas. The pier consists of a reinforced concrete structure and it is main function is to serve as an entertainment and tourist space. It is rectangular in shape, and is distributed vertically and horizontally in a T-shape. The design and structural calculations were carried out taking into account the Ecuadorian construction code and current building codes used to design a robust structure. To determine the bearing capacity of the superstructure, a dynamic study was carried out by analyzing the maximum allowable loads and stresses using Etabs software.
