Los estudios que se analizaron están basados en la población joven de 12 a 18 años, el método abordado en la investigación es cualitativo de alcance descriptivo con un diseño de revisión sistemática. Usando como fuente de investigación las bases de datos de Scielo y Google Académico de tal forma que se llevó a cabo la extracción de datos; compilando información específica sobre el dominio de la familia en los rasgos y características de la personalidad en adolescente, por edad y sexo. Los principales resultados fueron: en consideración a los estudios no existe una amplia gama de información sobre la temática, por otro lado, las características importantes de la familia son los vínculos que se generan dentro del conjunto familiar predominando en su funcionamiento como tal, posteriormente los rasgos evidencian variables psicológicas, familiares tanto individuales del desarrollo personal que inciden en el progreso del adolescente y factores sociales que tienen relación a todas las conductas o comportamientos manifestados en el contexto familiar o colectivoThe present study aimed to analyze the influence of the family on the development of personality in Latin American adolescents, due to the importance that is generated during the process or growth of young people and to the limited inquiry into aspects of this. The studies that were analyzed are based on the young population aged 12 to 18 years, the method approached in the research is qualitative with a descriptive scope with a systematic review design. Using the databases of Scielo and Google Academic as a source of research in such a way that the data extraction was carried out; compiling specific information on the dominance of the family in adolescent personality traits and characteristics, by age and sex.
