Antecedentes: El caso original, en el que se basó el presente estudio, se trataba de una complicación hepática, a causa de una reacción al dengue hemorrágico en el cuerpo de la paciente; esto fue publicado en una revista médica de Cuba, Regueira Betancourt & Díaz Pérez (2016). Estos no son casos aislados, y se llegan a presentar en un porcentaje más alto de lo que muchos estiman. Objetivo general: Evaluar la importancia de realizar pruebas hepáticas en los pacientes que hayan contraído el virus del dengue, a través del estudio de un caso típico, para evitar reincidencias hospitalarias y complicaciones en pacientes. Metodología: En el estudio original se hace una investigación de manera cualitativa e inductiva; para lo cual se hizo uso de la anamnesis, exámenes físicos e investigaciones clínicas; luego la autora de este trabajo, hizo una extensa investigación documental para comparar y corroborar datos. Resultados: La paciente del estudio en Cuba, se recuperó luego de ser tratado por dengue y luego por hepatitis; en pacientes de otros casos los tratamientos se hicieron de forma simultánea. Conclusiones: Dada la incidencia del dengue en Ecuador, y su calidad de enfermedad endémica, se deben conocer las complicaciones derivadas, la hepática se puede identificar mediante un análisis de laboratorio.Title: Hepatitis reactive dengue virus. Background: The original case in which this study was based, was a liver complication, because of a reaction to dengue hemorrhagic fever in the body of the patient; This was published in a medical journal in Cuba, Regueira Betancourt & Diaz Pérez (2016). These are not isolated cases, and they are even present in a higher percentage than many persons believe. Objective: To evaluate the importance of liver tests in patients who have gotten the dengue virus, through the study of a typical case, to prevent relapses and complications in hospital patients. Methodology: In the original study, a qualitative research was done inductively; for which use was made of the clinical history, physical examination and clinical research; then the author of this work, did extensive documentary research to compare and verify data. Results: The patient studied in Cuba, recovered after being treated for dengue and then by hepatitis; in other cases, patients treatments were done simultaneously. Conclusions: Because the incidence of dengue in Ecuador, and its quality of endemic disease, must know the resulting complications, the liver damage can be identified by laboratory analysisUniversidad de Guayaquil.
