Establecer si el uso de las nuevas tecnologías influye en este problema social, en el que se encuentran inmersos niños, adolescentes y jóvenes como la principal población a investigar, además de lograr que los padres de familia se involucren en la educación de sus hijos y establezcan comunicación con ellos. Para efecto de este estudio como unidad de análisis se seleccionaron los hogares de la Cdla. El Recreo 2da y 3era etapa, del cantón Durán; quienes serán los principales beneficiados con esta investigación, especialmente los jóvenes en proceso de formación; quienes aprenderán a controlar el uso desmedido que le dan a los celulares inteligentes en los hogares. Las familias están perdiendo comunicación; por tal motivo, los padres se sienten preocupados por este problema que atañe a la población, no solo del lugar mencionado; sino a nivel global.With this paper it was an attempt to analyze the lack of communication that exist at the time of being at home, at a family meeting; establish whether new technologies have to do with this social problem that children, teenagers and young people as the main population are engaged to investigate, along with the tireless pursuit of parents to establish a personal communication with their children without looking their mobile devices every five minutes. In order to complete this research it can be investigated the homes at the citadel “El Recreo”, which are located in Canton Durán; people who live there will be the main beneficiaries in this stage of formation of excessive use of smart phones at homes.
