Este estudio es de tipo descriptivo, observacional transversal no experimental. Resultados. Se estudiaron 83 paciente que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, en donde se obtuvo que el 61,4% fueron partos pre termino <de 36 semanas; y 38,6%fueron partos a término > de 37 semanas) el 55,4% eran de sexo masculino y el 44% eran de sexo femenino, la edad 22,9% eran < de 18 años y el 77,1% eran > de 18 años, el 86.7% de los pacientes atendidos fue por parto por cesárea, el tipo de drogas que más utilizaban 57,8% fue la H y el 71% presento un puntaje en la escala de Finnegan modificada entre 8 y 12The present study is focused on determining the incidence of abstinence syndrome in newborns, treated in the Guasmo Sur General Hospital during the period January 2017-January 2019. This study is of a descriptive, cross-sectional non-experimental observational type. Results We studied 83 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, where it was obtained that 61.4% were preterm births <of 36 weeks; and 38.6% were full-term deliveries> 37 weeks) 55.4% were male and 44% were female, age 22.9% were <18 years old and 77.1% were > of 18 years, 86.7% of the patients attended were by cesarean delivery, the type of drugs that used the most 57.8% was H and 71% presented a score on the modified F1innegan scale between 8 and 12.
