Esta investigación presenta una metodología mixta por que utilizamos metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa donde usamos la encuesta, la observación y entrevistas, para medir la afluencia de turistas que tiene actualmente dicho atractivo. Bucay is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country for visitors, both local and foreign, has unique attractions for tourists who are looking for a tourist spot to be able to undertake adventure tourism and shopping tourism. Unfortunately, the lack of information about the environment and the natural tourist wealth has led to the deterioration of the tourist attractions of this canton, making the ecosystem of the area vulnerable, which is also exacerbated by the lack of interest and clear policies of environmental preservation by Part of its inhabitants and tourists. Therefore it is justified to carry out this research work that seeks to be a valuable contribution to raising awareness of the preservation of this beautiful place and in this way can minimize the environmental impact currently suffering la Cascada Piedra Blanca.
