Como objetivo general se planteó “Determinar el grado de conocimiento de la sociedad sobre el virus papiloma humano y qué medidas preventivas realiza frente a estas enfermedades de transmisión sexual.” El enfoque de la investigación es Cuantitativo, tratándose de un estudio descriptivo y prospectivo, se utilizó como instrumento de investigación la encuesta realizada a los alumnos del sexto semestre matriculados en la Facultad de Comunicación Social "FACSO" periodo 2015 - 2016 con la finalidad de verificar cuanto conocen sobre el virus H.P.V y así poder realizar nuestras conclusiones y sugerencias. Este trabajo tuvo como finalidad difundir por medio de una campaña de comunicación, a través de las diversas plataformas digitales, lo que significa una infección por el H.P.V., sus repercusiones en el ser humano, ya que esta infección es ocasionada por un virus de alto riesgo y resaltar las formas de prevención y su tratamiento.This research was conducted in the Faculty of Social Communication with students of the sixth semester of the faculty of Social Communication, an estimated number of students, in order to know how many do they know about papillomavirus and how much they know about the damage that can cause the virus in the human body, not only of women but also of men. The general objective of this research is to Determe the degree of knowledge of society about human papillomavirus and what preventive measures carried out against these sexually transmitted diseases." The methods that were used in this research are quantitative, descriptive and prospective study, the survey was done of students in the sixth semester enrolled in the Faculty of Social Communication "FACSO" period 2015 - 2016 in order to verify how much do they know about HPV virus so we can make our conclusions and suggestions.
