El presente trabajo de titulación está basado en una experiencia vivida en el bloque 5 de la Cooperativa 8 de agosto del Guasmo sur, ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil Ecuador, realizado por los estudiantes de la Facultad de Psicología, bajo la metodología de sistematización de experiencias, con la finalidad de conocer y analizar los factores que inciden en la participación comunitaria de los habitantes del sector, recalcando lo fundamental del proceso vivido y de la reflexión crítica. Esta experiencia sistematizada tiene como objeto el sentido de comunidad y liderazgo en la participación comunitaria de los habitantes del sector Unión de Bananeros y busca responder la pregunta eje que es ¿Cómo incide el sentido de comunidad y liderazgo en la participación comunitaria de los habitantes del sector Unión de Bananeros? Siendo posible analizar estos factores por medio de los diferentes instrumentos aplicados en el proceso diagnóstico, así como los talleres que se realizaron en las asambleas comunitarias y grupos focales en la comunidad. Dentro de la información obtenida en la comunidad, se pudo identificar que durante este proceso se evidenció que los factores que inciden de manera más notoria a la participación comunitaria fueron el sentido de comunidad y el liderazgo de los personajes representativos del sectorNowadays, the community participation represents a great importance for the development of projects, programs and decisions that benefit the entire community regarding the different latent problems in the sector, since help or contribution can be provided through the residents of the community.The present degree work is based on an experience lived in bloque 5 of the Cooperativa 8 de Agosto del Guasmo Sur, located in the city of Guayaquil Ecuador, carried out by the students of the Faculty of Psychology, under the methodology of systematization of experiences, with the purpose of knowing and analyzing the factors that affect the community participation of the inhabitants of the sector, emphasizing the essential of the lived process and critical reflection.This systematized experience aims at the sense of community and leadership in the community participation of the inhabitants of the Unión de Bananeros sector and seeks to answer the central question, which is, How does the sense of community and leadership affect the community participation of the inhabitants of the sector Union of Bananeros?. Being possible to analyze these factors through the different instruments applied in the diagnostic process, as well as the workshops that were held in the community assemblies and focus groups in the community.
