En el transcurso de la investigación se pudo identificar el que los procesos no estaban siendo controlados y respaldados adecuadamente generando una serie de problemas, entre ellos, confusión en la segregación de tareas, pérdidas constantes de recursos tecnológicos cuyo fin debe ser exclusivamente académico, desembolsos sin las autorizaciones correspondientes, desajuste en el presupuesto y personal no capacitado, inexistencia de documentos que sustente transacciones operativas. Por aquello, se consideró necesario el desarrollo de un modelo de control interno que permita establecer el orden, honestidad y veracidad en los procedimientos a seguir en la fundación y así consolidar su permanencia a largo plazo y seguir contribuyendo a la sociedad. Mediante la encuesta se recolectó y se analizó la información para el desarrollo del manual.The research work entitled "Development Model Internal Control at the Fundet-Ecuador Foundation" had as a general objective the development of an internal control model to improve organizational management. In the course of the investigation, it was possible to identify that the processes were not being controlled and adequately supported generating a number of problems, among them, confusion in the segregation of tasks, constant losses of technological resources whose purpose must be exclusively academic, disbursements without the corresponding authorizations, budget mismatch and untrained personnel, lack of documents supporting operational transactions. For this reason, it was considered necessary to develop an internal control model that allows establishing order, honesty and truthfulness in the procedures to be followed in the foundation and thus consolidate its permanence in the long term and continue contributing to society.
