El interés de esta investigación se originó a partir del malestar psicológico de las mujeres violentadas en el ámbito familiar y cómo esta aumenta a manera que se extendía el confinamiento por la pandemia. En este estudio se utilizó una metodología con enfoque cualitativa, aunque se incluyeron instrumentos cualitativos y cuantitativos. Los sujetos de estudios son cuatro mujeres en donde sus edades oscilan entre veinte y cuarenta años, son víctimas de violencia de género y se han encontrado en confinamiento por el Covid-19. Se evaluó depresión, ansiedad, autoestima, estrés post traumático y otros síntomas recogidos por el cuestionario de 90 síntomas SCL-90. Como resultados se obtuvo que las mujeres víctimas de la violencia de género durante el confinamiento por Covid-19 presentaron daños psicológicos como estrés post traumático, depresión, ansiedad rasgo, baja autoestima e indefensión. Entre las secuelas emocionales ocasionados está el aislamiento, deterioro en áreas del funcionamiento personal, social, laboral y familiar. Se concluye que las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género durante el confinamiento por Covid-19 sufrieron daños en su salud mental los cuales pueden desaparecer con tratamiento psicológico. Sin embargo, quedaron secuelas irreversibles por los acontecimientos traumáticosThe present case study aimed to describe the psychological damages that can be caused by gender violence in women that occurred during the confinement of the Pandemic by Covid-19 in the city of Guayaquil. The interest in this research originated from the psychological discomfort of women who were violated in the family environment and how it increases as confinement extended due to the pandemic. In this study, a methodology with a qualitative approach was used, although qualitative and quantitative instruments were included. The Subjects of study are four women whose ages range are from twenty to forty years old, they are victims of gender violence and have been found in confinement due to Covid-19. depression, anxiety, self-esteem, post-traumatic stress were evaluated and other symptoms were collected by the 90 symptom questionnaire SCL-90. As results, it was obtained that women victims of gender violence during confinement by Covid-19 presented psychological damage such as post-traumatic stress, depression, trait anxiety, low self-esteem and defenselessness. Among the emotional sequelae caused the are: isolation, deterioration in areas of personal, social, work and family functioning. It is concluded that women victims of gender violence during confinement by Covid-19 suffered damage to their mental health which can disappear with psychological treatment.
