Apoyados en los estudios de gente conocedora del mercado de empaque que pronostican un crecimiento del consumo de polipropileno, podemos confiar en que un estudio acerca de la fabricación del film será de gran ayuda para las decisiones sobre el crecimiento de la compañía. Para poder desarrollar correctamente el estudio de factibilidad se han utilizado fuentes de información primaria (departamentos de costos y de compras de la fábrica) y secundaria, estos datos se han procesado en excel, se ha realizado el correspondiente estudio de mercado, se hicieron las proyecciones con el método de la media móvil y de la regresión lineal, para la parte de análisis en producción se aplico el diagrama de operaciones y en el estudio económico se calcularon diferentes índices que ayudan a evaluar la rentabilidad del proyecto. Al realizar los diferentes estudios, hacer los respectivos cálculos y consideraciones técnicas-económicas podemos decir que el proyecto es una guía importante, puede recomendarse su revisión para evaluar la posibilidad de invertir en él. Podemos observar un mercado en crecimiento, las ventas mensuales al segundo año de operación se proyectan superar los 200.000 dólares, es muy importante considerar que Plastlit pasaría a ser la segunda empresa en fabricar este material dentro del país, se pudo comprobar en que actualmente el único productor del bopp es la compañía Bopp del Ecuador. La producción de Plastlit si se adquieren las maquinarias sugeridas en el estudio pueden perfectamente empezar funcionando el primer año a más del 80% de su capacidad de producción, incrementándose la misma año a año. Se tiene la ventaja de que la empresa ya maneja productos industriales y conoce el mercado porque actualmente importa y comercializa el producto agregándole valor. Finalmente al analizar las proyecciones de ventas y revisar los costos se han realizado los cálculos financieros que confirman la factibilidad del proyecto, se proyecta un margen de utilidad mayor al 30% sobre las ventas, una tasa de retorno del 45% sobre la inversión y en otros índices se calcula que al tercer año ya pasan a ser positivos. Todos estos elementos serán de mucha utilidad para que la directiva de la empresa tome las decisiones adecuadas en caso de aceptar el proyecto.The main goal set at the beginning of the study is to demonstrate the suitability for the company to produce polypropylene films, this convenience becomes concrete in the lower unit cost of the product to sell, this enables in turn improve the profit margin per kilo sold .
