El propósito del estudio fue determinar el estadio de precontemplación, de la rueda de cambio propuesta por Prochaska y DiClemente, en los adolescentes entre 14 a 17 años que fueron derivados al CDID para que reciban atención psicológica, en la ciudad de Guayaquil durante los meses de Julio a Noviembre del periodo 2015. La metodología del análisis de caso utilizada se enfocó en la problemática individual que presentaron los adolescentes dentro de la consulta, en conjunto a las diferentes investigaciones concernientes a los estadios de la rueda del cambio, específicamente el de precontemplación. El objetivo central fue brindar lineamientos que contribuyan a un mejor abordaje de la problemática por consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en adolescentes de 14 a 17 años que se encuentran en un estado de precontemplación y que asisten al CDID, durante el período 2015. En cuanto a la utilización de técnicas, se aplicó un test proyectivo basado en la técnica gráfica del dibujo para conocer los factores sociales implicados en el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, se aplicó el test de frases incompletas de Sacks para adolescentes, entrevistas y por último, se utilizó la técnica de observación y entrevista con el fin de aplicar los lineamientos de abordaje terapéutico en el estadio de precontemplaciónThe consumption of psychoactive substances in adolescents is a social problem in a state of emergency in our country, since currently there are several risk factors that are found within the cultural context where these young people develop. The purpose of the study was to determine the stage of precontemplation, of the wheel of change proposed by Prochaska and DiClemente, in adolescents between 14 and 17 years old who were referred to the CDID to receive psychological attention, in the city of Guayaquil during the months of July to November of the 2015 period. The methodology of the case analysis used focused on the individual problems presented by the adolescents within the consultation, together with the different investigations concerning the stages of the change wheel, specifically the one of pre-contemplation. The main objective was to provide guidelines that contribute to a better approach to the problem due to the use of psychoactive substances in adolescents between the ages of 14 and 17 who are in a state of pre-contemplation and who attend the CDID during the 2015 period.
