Debido a la emergencia sanitaria que atravesamos a escala mundial no solo nuestro sistema de salud se vio afectado, sino también el mercado laboral, lo que produjo un evidente incremento en el índice de desempleo y por consiguiente una desestabilización en el sistema de seguridad social dado que el número de aportantes fue reducido también. Además de ello, las condiciones en las que muchos trabajadores tuvieron que realizar sus actividades no fueron las más óptimas, ya que muchos empleadores en respuesta a la falta de oportunidades laborales abusaron y vulneraron los derechos de sus empleados. Based on this research work, we carry out a legal analysis that includes the influence of the COVID-19 health crisis on the changes that arose in the regulation of working conditions and social security in our country during the years 2020 and 2021. Due to the health emergency that we are going through on a global scale, not only our health system was affected, but also the labor market, which produced an evident increase in the unemployment rate and consequently a destabilization in the social security system since the number of contributors was also reduced.
