The research was carried out with eighth-grade EGB students of the Augusto Mendoza Moreira Educational Unit, the school year 2021 - 2022. To support the basis of the project, a study was carried out where the variables of the problem were analyzed and developed theoretically. In addition to the different methods and data collection techniques, the instruments used were: the teacher interview and the student survey. Due to the health emergency and the new online methodology, the survey was conducted through "Google Surveys" and the interview through the "Zoom" platform. The analysis of the results determined that the design of an A1.1 level didactic guide with listening comprehension activities focused on the different note-taking techniques would help to improve the listening comprehension of the students.El presente proyecto educativo se centra en como la influencia de la toma de notas puede ayudar al desarrollo de la comprensión auditiva en el área de inglés. La investigación fue llevada a cabo con los alumnos de octavo grado EGB de la Unidad Educativa Augusto Mendoza Moreira, periodo lectivo 2021 - 2022. Para poder sustentar las bases del proyecto, se realizó un estudio donde se encontraron las variables del problema que fueron analizadas y desarrolladas teóricamente. Además de los diferentes métodos y técnicas de recolección de datos, los instrumentos utilizados fueron: la entrevista al profesor y la encuesta a los estudiantes, debido a la emergencia sanitaria y la nueva modalidad online de educación, la encuesta se realizó a través de “Google Encuestas” y la entrevista por la plataforma de “Zoom”. El análisis de resultados, determinó que el diseño de una guía didáctica de nivel A1.1 con actividades de comprensión oral enfocadas en las diferentes técnicas de tomas de notas ayudaría a mejorar la compresión auditiva de los educandos.Universidad de Guayaquil.
