The population of this research was 108 students of Ninth Grade of the Unidad Educativa Fiscal Clemente Yerovi Indaburu. For the development of this project a mixed research approach was used, which revealed inadequate vocabulary teaching leading to a lack of understanding and expression, preventing students from reaching level A.1.2 of the National Curriculum. To address this problem, it is proposed to design a booklet with didactic activities that allows the teacher and students to carry out various activities to improve their vocabulary learning.Este proyecto educativo investiga la influencia de las tarjetas didácticas para mejorar el vocabulario del idioma inglés. La población de esta investigación fue 108 alumnos de Noveno Grado de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Clemente Yerovi Indaburu. Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se utilizó un enfoque de investigación mixto, que reveló una enseñanza inadecuada del vocabulario que conduce a la falta de comprensión y expresión, lo que impide a los estudiantes alcanzar el nivel A.1.2 del Currículo Nacional. Para abordar este problema, se propone diseñar un cuadernillo con actividades didácticas que permita al profesor y a los alumnos realizar diversas actividades para mejorar su aprendizaje del vocabulario.Universidad de Guayaquil.
