A través de una investigación de campo utilizando los instrumentos de investigación y las técnicas de recolección de datos, la falta de comprensión auditiva fue bastante relevante (un porcentaje superior al 58%). El resultado de la investigación determinó que la mayoría de los estudiantes mostró interés en el Método Audio lingüístico por lo que la investigadora decidió realizar una guía didáctica tanto para docentes como para los estudiantes utilizando el Método Audio lingüístico, la cual motivará a los estudiantes a realizar mejor las actividades implementadas para ellos y lograr un desarrollo significativo en su capacidad de comprensión auditiva, este material se desarrollada como material extra para los profesores.The main aim of this research project is to determine the influence of the Audiolingual Method on the 10th-year students of Basic General Education of the Paul Rivet Unidad Educativa, concerning the development of listening comprehension in English. The lack of listening comprehension was quite relevant through a field investigation using the research instruments and data collection techniques (a percentage greater than 58%). The outcome of the research determined that most of the students showed interest in the Audio-Lingual Method for that reason the researcher decided to make a didactic guide for both teachers and students using the Audio-lingual Method, which will motivate students to better achieve the activities implemented for them and to fulfill a significant development in their listening comprehension ability. The didactic guide is developed to be extra material for teachers.Universidad de Guayaquil.
