Se realizó un estudio de campo para escoger el lugar en donde centraríamos nuestro proyecto, con el propósito de conocer lo que piensan las personas acerca del pasillo nacional. Teniendo como resultado el poco interés de conocer la historia del género, por diferentes razones, una de las más relevantes es la difusión constante de los nuevos géneros musicales, y la poca iniciativa de realizar campañas comunicacionales a través de las personas, de los medios, y de las instituciones para impulsar al pasillo nacional. Este estudio permite relatar el origen del género, su evolución y su modificación para su adaptación a nuestra nación, quienes son los principales exponentes que aportaron con la riqueza de su contenido al realizar las composiciones, cómo se encuentra el género en la actualidad, y de qué manera está sustentada en las Leyes del ecuador para el desarrollo de culturas musicales. Con la finalidad de promover y darle fuerza al género, además de practicarlo, se realizó varios talleres para adquirir mayor conocimiento y a su vez poner en creadora y las aptitudes, c nuestra música, juego la voluntad con el objetivo de hacer conocer apreciarla e interpretarla y así mantener nuestra identidad cultural .In this academic work an investigation took place whit the objective of de termining the influence of “pasillo nacional” music in our culture, and interrogation was made whit the only purpose of gradually investigate how and when this problem arose, which is the cause and what we could do in order to rescue the music values of “pasillo” which make up the identity of Ecuador. A field study was done in order to choose the place where the project will be put in to practice, with the purpose of knowing what the people think about “pasillo”. An outcome that it was the lack of interest in getting familiar with the history of the gender, for many reasons, one of the most relevants is the constant diffusion of the new musical genres, and the very little initiative in creating communicational campaingns by means of the people, the media, and the institutions in order to promote “pasillo”. This study allows to relat e the origen of the gender, its evolution and its modification for its adaptations in our nation also who are the main authors that collaborate with the richness of its content to main of its content to make such compositions, how the genes is in the current time and in what way it is supported in the Ecuadorian laws for the development of cultural music.
