Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, del tipo fenomenológico empírico. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo a través de técnicas cualitativas siendo la entrevista y el grupo focal las seleccionadas para esta tarea. El análisis de los resultados permitió determinar qué diversos factores ocasionaron problemas de pareja, siendo estos últimos los causantes de la per- cepción negativa que tuvieron los sujetos con respecto a la conexión emocional en sus relaciones de pareja. Finalmente, se concluyó que la conexión emocional que percibían los sujetos en refe- rencia a sus relaciones de pareja si resultó afectada por la pandemia de la COVID-19The present analysis of cases aims to describe the emotional connection in the couple's relation- ships of four cases during this confinement stage, in order to know which were the factors that affected the deterioration of the emotional connection of the aforementioned couples. A qualita- tive methodology was used, of the empirical phenomenological type. Data collection was carried out through qualitative techniques, with the interview and the focus group selected for this task. The analysis of the results made it possible to determine what various factors caused couple prob- lems, the latter being the cause of the negative perception that the subjects had regarding the emotional connection in their couple relationships.
