Mediante una investigación descriptiva se conoció el bajo nivel de conocimiento de los próximos profesionalesen relación alos software Open Sourcey un alto nivel teórico ante amenazas. De esta manera los talleres implementados están escogidoscon base a la encuesta realizada para ayudar a mejorar y entender los temas importantes de ciberseguridad siendo de mucha utilidad para fortalecer el perfil profesional con respecto a la seguridad de la información.Currently, the career of Engineering in Teleinformatics has theoretical learning for informatic security, which produce, that students have deficit when maneuvering or understanding tools dedicated to ethical hacking, for this reason, it was decided to conduct a laboratory with practical workshops of open-source tools inserted in the Kali Linux operating system to increase theexperience and knowledge of students. Through descriptive research, it was found out the low level of knowledge of the upcoming professionals in relation to Open Source software and a high theoretical level in the face of threats. In this way, the workshops implemented are chosen based on the survey conducted to help improve and understand the important issues of cybersecurity being very useful to strengthen the professional profile with respect to information security.Universidad de Guayaquil.
