Se realiza la sistematización del proceso de diagnóstico psicológico dado en el periodo de prácticas pre profesionales que sirve como requisito previo para la obtención del título de Psicóloga en la Universidad de Guayaquil (Ecuador), el mismo que se llevó acabo en la Unidad Fiscal Monseñor Leonidas Proaño con una población estudiantil de alrededor de dos mil estudiantes. Si bien la problemática hoy en día es el consumo de drogas, los/las Psicólogos/as refieren que estas son manifestaciones de una causa, de un motivo que sucede alrededor de la persona que se siente atraída por dichas conductas. El énfasis dado por el presente trabajo recae sobre el paso a paso, el cómo, con qué y además de corroborar mediante algunos elementos la pertinencia de la ejecución y herramientas aplicadas para el respectivo diagnóstico de los adolescentes de la institución educativa en mención. Se podrá revisar el enfoque (deductivo-predictivo) de la evaluación psicológica en sus respectivas fases: recogida de información en donde se consideran aspectos a priori y a posteriori del consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en los estudiantes.
