| spelling | Análisis Comparativo de Rehabilitación de Red de AA.PP., utilizando Tuberías PEAD, PVC, Hierro Dúctil, en Suburbio Oeste.Freire Triana, José PaúlSánchez Santamaría, Valeria IsabelAdobe PDFEn el sector suburbio oeste de la ciudad de Guayaquil, se necesitaba rehabilitar la red de agua potable de manera urgente, ya que una parte de las tuberías que estaban aún instaladas eran de PVC y ya habían cumplido con su tiempo de vida útil y otras eran de asbesto cemento, las cuales son cancerígenas y ya no se deben utilizar según la OMS (Organización Mundial de la Salud); ya que cuando se comienza a desbaratar cualquier material antiguo que contiene asbesto, las fibras de éste tienden a crear un polvo compuesto de diminutas partículas que pueden flotar en el aire o en el agua; por lo cual se analizó el tipo de tubería a utilizar; ésta debía ser una tubería que no genere mucho costo ni tiempo en su instalación. Por lo cual se realizó un análisis comparativo de las tres tuberías más utilizadas para redes de agua potable: PEAD, PVC, HD. Se analizaron las ventajas, propiedades, costos de suministros e instalación y cronograma de obra de cada una de ellas; lo cual generó la conclusión de que la tubería más apta para estos tipos de proyectos es la de PEAD, ya que a pesar de necesitar un proceso de electrofusión, termofusión o unión mecánica para su instalación, posee bajos costos en suministros y es de fácil adquisición en el mercado local, su facilidad de transportar, su rapidez al instalarla ya que vienen en rollos de 100 m. y el poco personal que requiere ya que se puede instalar por cada frente de trabajo por día hasta 120 m. ; a diferencia de la de PVC que se llega a instalar de 60-70 m. y la de HD de 30-40 m.In the western suburb of the city of Guayaquil, it was necessary to rehabilitate the potable water network urgently, since part of the pipes that were still installed were made of PVC and had already reached their useful life and others were of asbestos cement, which are carcinogenic and should no longer be used according to the WHO (World Health Organization); since when you begin to derail any old material that contains asbestos, the fibers of it tend to create a dust composed of tiny particles that can float in the air or in water; for which the type of pipe to be used was analyzed; this should be a pipe that does not generate much cost or time in its installation. Therefore, a comparative analysis of the three most used pipes for drinking water networks was carried out: HDPE, PVC, HD. The advantages, properties, costs of supplies and installation and work schedule of each of them were analyzed; which generated the conclusion that the most suitable pipe for these types of projects is that of HDPE, since in spite of needing an electrofusion process, thermofusion or mechanical union for its installation, it has low costs in supplies and is easy to acquire in the local market, its ease of transport, its speed when installed as they come in rolls of 100 m. and the little personnel required since it can be installed per work front per day up to 120 m. ; unlike the PVC that gets to install 60-70 m. and the HD of 30-40 m.Universidad de Guayaquil.
