Para la elaboración de este documento se ha tomado normas de seguride se presentan en las diferentes áreas utilizando técnicas de supervisión; definir el estado actual donde se realiza el tema a tratarse,ad OHSAS, así como un trabajo de campo, en la metodología de la investigación se tomo en cuenta la observación de las actividades que realizan las personas. Parte de trabajo de escritorio fue solicitar la documentación e información soporte con que cuenta el Instituto Superior Tecnológico “Simún Bolívar”, para luego compararlo con las normas que regulan la seguridad industrial y salud en el país. Para el análisis del diagnostico se identificaron los problemas que existen en las diferentes áreas. Los problemas encontrados son: la falta de recursos económicos, falta de procedimientos, falta de un plan de capacitación basado en un diagnostico de necesidades, falta de un proceso de auditoria del sistema de gestión que permita identificar las debilidades del sistema y emprender la mejora continua. Cuando se realicen inspecciones al área de trabajo se debe tener en cuenta las normas OHSAS 18001, la cual permite presentar una propuesta que cumpla con los requisitos que necesita el Instituto. Las conclusiones y recomendaciones expuestas en el documento anotan a que todas las acciones preventivas y correcciones se deben hacer para mejorar el desempeño individual y colectivo en seguridad y salud.The main objective of this paper is to identify problems affecting the health and safety of teachers and students, analyze the main problems arising in different areas using monitoring techniques; establish the state where the subject is made to be treated, identify unsafe acts and conditions that cause injury accidents, and propose solutions to avoid split aforementioned drawbacks. For the preparation of this document is taken OHSAS safety and fieldwork in the methodology of the research took into account the observation of the activities that people do. Part of desk job was to request supporting documentation and information available to the Superior Technology "Simoom Bolívar" Institute, and then compare it with the rules governing industrial safety and health in the country. For analysis of the diagnostic problems that exist in different areas were identified. The problems encountered are: lack of financial resources, lack of procedures, lack of a training plan based on a diagnosis of needs, lack of an audit process management system to identify system weaknesses and undertake continuous improvement . When inspections are conducted to the work area should take account of OHSAS 18001, which allows to submit a proposal that meets the requirements needed by the Institute.
