| spelling | Tratamiento de la Estomatitis Bucal por prótesis mal adaptadaDurán León, Mirtha MaribelESTOMATITIS SUBPROTETICACANDIDIASIS BUCALPALADAR HENDIDOpdfLa Estomatitis Protésica se define como una inflamación de los tejidos orales de soporte de las prótesis removibles en los pacientes total o parcialmente desdentados, más frecuentemente encontradas en el maxilar superior y puede ser provocada por múltiples factores entre los más importantes están aquellos portadores de prótesis removibles que se encuentran casi siempre en mal estado o que tienen muchos años de vida útil, el uso continuo, sin descanso, y sumado a esto, la mala higiene del paciente que favorece el desarrollo del hongo Cándida Albicans, empeorando el cuadro clínico, razón por la cual, el objetivo de esta investigación es elaborar un plan tratamiento para esta patología mediante la aplicación del acondicionador de tejido y la confección de una prótesis parcial removible metal flexible para mejorar la estética, función y salud de la cavidad bucal del paciente. La metodología que usamos en esta investigación para llevar a cabo el plan de tratamiento consiste en eliminar los factores locales que la producen, acondicionar el tejido, realizar una limpieza y desinfección de la cavidad bucal y confeccionar una nueva prótesis, acompañada del tratamiento antimicótico-antibacteriano. Es importante que el paciente no siga usando la prótesis antigua ya que de lo contrario no desaparecería la lesión. Además de esto, se deben reforzar en el paciente, técnicas de higiene, individualmente, tanto de su cavidad bucal como de la prótesis. El pronóstico de esta lesión es favorable y los resultados que obtuvimos en esta investigación fueron satisfactorios, ya que al cabo de unas semanas sus tejidos mostraron notable mejoría. Con este trabajo llegamos a la conclusión de que la estomatitis es una enfermedad multifactorial de los tejidos orales pero es manifestada con más frecuencia en el maxilar superior.Stomatitis Prosthetic is defined as an inflammation of the oral tissues support removable dentures in partially or fully edentulous patients, most commonly found in the maxilla and can be caused by multiple factors among the most important are those carriers removable dentures which are almost always in poor or who have many years of life, continuous use, without rest, and added to this, poor patient hygiene that favors the development of the fungus Candida albicans, worsening the clinical picture, why which, the objective of this research is to develop a treatment plan for this condition by applying conditioner fabric and the construction of a removable partial denture flexible metal to improve aesthetics, function and health of the oral cavity of the patient. The methodology used in this research to carry out the treatment plan is to remove local factors that produce it, put the fabric, make a cleaning and disinfection of the oral cavity and make a new prosthesis, together with the antifungal-antibacterial treatment . It is important that the patient does not continue using the old prosthesis as otherwise would not disappear injury. Besides, they should be strengthened in the patient, hygiene techniques, individually, both the oral cavity and the prosthesis. The prognosis of this lesion is favorable and the results we obtained in this research were satisfactory, since after a few weeks their tissues showed marked improvement. With this work we conclude that the stomatitis is a multifactorial disease of the oral tissues but is expressed most often in the upper jaw.Universidad de Guayaquil.
