El propósito de la investigación se basó en el estudio de las artes visuales y el aporte que brinda estas al desarrollo creativo y cognitivo de los niños/as utilizando materiales didácticos, identificando las técnicas de enseñanza que los docentes utilizan con los niños/as así como los materiales que manejan los cuales pueden ser dañinos para su organismo, por lo cual se diseñó una guía didáctica utilizando la técnica del Pop-Up con imágenes ilustradas que llamen la atención, siendo este un instrumento didáctico y nuevo utilizado por ellas, para motivar a los infantes en reconocer colores, formas, líneas, texturas, así como también poder desarrollar la creatividad. Las metodologías educativas cambian a medida que transcurre el tiempo, por lo cual es obligatorio optar por nuevas técnicas, ya que los niños/as a medida que crecen necesitan explorar y aprender de una forma original y divertida. Este estudio de investigación es cualitativo, ya que esta permite recaudar información acerca de las cualidades del sujeto de estudio, se aplicó encuesta a la comunidad educativa y padres de familia, estas confirmaron la primicia de que las artes visuales son importantes y necesarias para el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los niños/as.This research work was made due obvious failures that exist in students when are designing some kind of creative and satisfactory proposal which transmit an adequate visual message, the main objective of this research is to know new aesthetic methodological strategies nowadays, the problem that affects student staff was observed, therefore measures were taken to minimize and gradually disappear that obstacle which difficult the proper development. Visual communication is the transcendental factor that Graphic design has as an ally, so the student has to enter into this field to strengthen their capabilities. It is important that the designer has the knowledge to make their work without problems and the design be recognized and persuaded by its aesthetics and nice appearance that characterizes it. The methodologies of explanatory research will not help to describe the problem only, but will discoverer the causes of the possible solutions and reality that determine the subject of investigation. The students of the third semester were chosen as research unit, to whom the research techniques were applied with a qualitative approach.
