This study carries out a mixed methodology to have an open view of the interpretation of data and phenomena. The project also follows testing stages to assess and analyze the needs of the students. As a result of the investigative process, the research found a deficiency in students’ writing production. Because of this, the researchers considered the Task-Based Instruction method as a methodological tool to stimulate learners’ motivation through meaningful sequenced writing tasks in a pedagogical booklet as didactic support to the Ministry of Education English modules.La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia del método de Task-Based Instrucción en el desarrollo de la habilidad de escritura a través de una investigación aplicada bibliográfica y estadística para diseñar un Booklet orientado al mismo método para estudiantes de nivel A2. Este estudio ejecuta una metodología mixta para tener una visión abierta a la interpretación de los datos y fenómenos. El proyecto también sigue etapas de pruebas para evaluar y analizar las necesidades de los alumnos. Como resultado del proceso de investigación, se encontró una deficiencia en la producción de escritura de los alumnos. Por ello, los investigadores consideraron el método de Task-Based Instrucción como una herramienta metodológica para estimular la motivación de los alumnos a través de tareas de escritura significativa y secuenciada en un Booklet pedagógico como apoyo didáctico a los módulos de inglés del Ministerio de Educación.Universidad de Guayaquil.
