Dado que resultó ser un tema de interés en el ámbito educativo, se logró plantear como objetivo el caracterizar los resultados psicológicos producidos por el confinamiento en el proceso de adaptación educativa de los estudiantes. Por lo cual, se abordó con un enfoque cuantitativo, puesto que los datos recabados se basaron con instrumentos cuantificables, de igual manera, se contó con un diseño metodológico no experimental de tipo transeccional descriptivo, que permitió indagar de forma detallada acerca del objetivo planteado. Esta investigación, permitió conocer a fondo el ambiente, en el cual, los estudiantes se desarrollaron y adaptaron, igualmente, las dificultades que presentaban durante dicho proceso. Se utilizaron instrumentos acordes a las variables descritas para lograr responder a los objetivos previamente establecidos, estos dieron como resultado una amplia descripción acerca de cuáles eran las características psicológicas que manifestaban los estudiantes, que podían resultar ser tanto positivas como negativas, durante su proceso de educación virtual, al igual que su adaptación ante la misma, entorno al confinamiento que se vivenció durante la pandemia del COVID-19This research project considered psychological characteristics as a starting point to understand the adaptation of eighth semester students of the School of Psychology during the virtual educational process around confinement. Since it turned out to be a topic of interest in the educational field, the objective was to characterize the psychological results produced by confinement in the process of educational adaptation of students. Therefore, it was approached with a quantitative approach, since the data collected were based on quantifiable instruments, likewise, a non-experimental methodological design of descriptive transectional type was used, which allowed a detailed inquiry about the stated objective. This research allowed us to know in depth the environment in which the students developed and adapted, as well as the difficulties they presented during this process.
