Se realizó una investigación de tipo cualitativo, enmarcada en un diseño narrativo. La población estuvo constituida por 121 colaboradores, la recolección de la información se realizó a través de observación participante, análisis documental y la aplicación de la encuesta Maslasch Burnout Inventory en su versión en español, la cual nos permitió identificar que 2 de cada 4 de los colaboradores se encuentran con niveles altos en 1 de 3 de las sub-escalas que establece la encuesta, lo que los hace vulnerables a sufrir el síndrome de Burnout. Finalmente el proyecto se da a conocer los datos obtenidos a partir de técnicas de recolección de información, para poder de este modo contribuir a la acumulación de conocimiento científico y técnico específico en la problemática analizadaThe Burnout Syndrome is a condition experienced by some professionals, particularly people who work in areas or positions with functions associated with heath care services, such as psychologists, doctors, nurses, etc. This syndrome is characterized by emotional exhaustion caused by excessive involvements at work. It is established through a systematization of experiences aimed to supporters of the Direccion Administrativa del Gobierno Autonomo Provincial del Guayas, where the intensity, incidence, and levels of the Burnout Syndrome were analyzed. A qualitative type of research was completed, focusing on a narrative design. The population consisted of 121 supporters, who gathered information through the observation of participants, data analysis, and the application of Maslasch Burnout Inventory on its Spanish version. This allowed us to identify its presence, with an incidence on 2 out of 4 of the supporters with high levels in 2 out of 3 of the subscales established in the survey, which makes them prone to suffer from Burnout Syndrome.
