También considera aspectos que hacen referencia a las características, tanto individuales como colectivas y en este caso particular de los docentes de la carrera de Comunicación Social, y al contexto en que se desenvuelven e interactúan con sus estudiantes, para determinar el uso de las TIC´s en su área. Por consiguiente, se hace imprescindible partir de un análisis del contexto donde interactúan ellos a diario, que es su aula de clases, por eso fue necesario incluir a los alumnos dentro de esta investigación, ya que ellos son participes y juegan un rol que determinará si el docente está o no haciendo bien su trabajo, ya que la mayoría de ellos pertenecen a la era industrial y todavía no terminan de integrarse en la era tecnológica actual, sobre todo en esta área tan compleja, pero que aporta grandes beneficios a la carrera del futuro profesional de Comunicación. Las condiciones socio laborales en las que los estudiantes se desenvuelven; pedagógico (concepciones y creencias, nuevos roles de profesor y alumno, mayor abanico de medios de aprendizaje, cambios en las estrategias didácticas; tecnológico (disponibilidad tecnológica de profesores y estudiantes) o institucional, hacen que también esto sea considerado. La fortaleza de las universidades en el terreno de las TIC en la docencia está, como se dijo, en el profesorado y en el conocimiento y se tiene que seguir trabajando en ello, para mejorar el entorno educativo de los estudiantes.The present research was carried out to investigate how the incorporation of ICTs in teaching-learning, aims to make known the role of ICT in university teaching, will consider aspects that refer to the characteristics, both Individual and collective, in this particular case of the teachers of the Social Communication career, and the context in which they develop and interact with their students; To determine the use of ICTs in their area.
