Čoahkkáigeassu:The research on safety and health at work should be based, with a rational, practical and participatory approach to generate knowledge to the scientific community and offer solutions to the negative effects of globalization on the health of the working population, closely related with productivity and business performance. Arises the need for research in this field for Ecuador, where universities must take this research competence. This study presents the methodology for the determination of research in health and safety at work to Ecuador, through the sequential and participatory process where the Delphi technique for identifying gaps and adaptation matrix method merges combined for prioritization based on scientific evidence from various sources and adjusted to social needs.
