| Итог: | The objective of this study is to determine the effect of the quality standards in two models of evaluation of higher education from the point of view of continuous improvement and how much they have contributed to the progress of the University. The methodology used is qualitative because it makes possible to understand, describe, interpret and analyze the contexts and the characters involved in the improvement of higher education from the analysis of quality standards, the research methods which are considered are the phenomenological and hermeneutic. The results of the study show the great disparity that exist from model to model in terms of evaluation metrics and it exposes the almost insurmountable gaps which are displayed in certain areas, as well as the visible progress in others. The improvement of the quality in the institutions of higher education should be developed gradually, because when there are unrealistic goals, the danger of not achieving them is problematic; thus, there is a lack of guidance in the decision-making process. |
