Description
Summary:This research is carried out at the MEDICUBA medical center in the city of Guayaquil, it has been five years since its opening with different types of doctors and specialists. This project seeks to know the reality of the health center in terms of the influence of the work environment on the productivity of the MEDICUBA Private Medical Center during the period from January to March 2024. Through a mixed methodological approach that will include the collection of quantitative and qualitative data, it is expected to offer an in-depth view of the relationship between these two elements. The results revealed that there is a bad work environment in the medical center and this has affected a drop in productivity. In addition, the cause why the problem had begun was identified since the director of MEDICUBA took a measure to reduce the consultation time for patients without consulting any of his collaborators and the doctors did not agree with him. Finally, it is concluded that promoting a healthy work environment is essential for productivity in health centers. Recommendations are proposed for the continuous improvement of the work environment, such as the implementation of training programs, staff recognition, and stress management strategies, in order to guarantee quality health services and worker well-being. This work not only aims to contribute to academic knowledge in the area of human talent management, but also to provide practical recommendations that can be implemented to improve the medical center.
